Course Content:

Facilities Management is such a broad profession, covering a huge variety of functional areas. To support FM professionals, the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) have written a 'Professional Standards' handbook to define the competencies necessary to be an accomplished workplace and / or facilities management practitioner at every level.

This course provides an overview on how FMs can apply each of the functional areas including:

  • FM strategy

  • Maintaining buildings

  • Financial management

  • Service delivery and improvement

  • Health & safety

  • Contract management

  • Managing projects and change

  • Sustainability

  • Customer experience

  • ...and lots more!

It is a practical and engaging course and provides guidance, resources, tools and tips to increase knowledge and confidence.

Our courses are designed to provide inclusive and enjoyable learning experiences so there is no role play or forced contribution.  Instead, leaners are supported with guidance, resources, tools and tips to help them fully understand and action the training content.  There is no end of course test, but upon successful completion of the course learners will be emailed electronic attendance certificates.
