Designed to provide the confidence and enthusiasm to apply knowledge to the workplace, this course will help embed a positive safety and health culture across your business.

Managing Safely is designed and quality-controlled by IOSH, the Chartered body for safety and health professionals. The course covers the following key areas;

  • Assessing risks

  • Controlling risks

  • Understanding responsibilities

  • Understanding hazards

  • Investigating incidents

  • Measuring performance

Each module is backed up by clear examples and recognisable scenarios and summaries to reinforce the key learning points. Organisations who put learners through IOSH training state;

  • Greater productivity from fewer hours lost due to sickness and accidents

  • Improved company-wide safety awareness culture and appreciation of safety measures

  • Active staff involvement to improve the workplace

  • Enhanced management of your supply chain

There is a closed-book test completed at the end of day 3, with most of the test questions being multiple choice. The tutor will prepare the learners throughout the course for the test. There is also a short risk assessment project to be completed and submitted within 2 weeks of the course end date. FMHS Consulting have a 100% pass rate, but in the event that the required minimum score isn't achieved, we will schedule a time for the test to be retaken using a different test paper. The risk assessment project can be amended and re-submitted if it doesn't initially achieve the pass rate.

Our courses are designed to provide inclusive and enjoyable learning experiences so there is no role play or forced contribution.  Instead, leaners are supported with guidance, resources, tools and tips to help them fully understand and action the training content.

“Beth is a fantastic trainer. She kept the training really engaging by involving everyone. By consistently allowing the group to review the learning that had taken place this proved really helpful in remembering things which were required for the test and which can be applied later on in our roles. The use of real world examples helped put the training in to a context that I could better understand and therefore will be able to apply the training practically to the work I'm involved in. Thank you so much!”
